Meditation

Connecting with Truth and the Self

For thousands of years, meditation has been practiced by many searchers for the Truth, as a way to connect with the Absolute Self.

Old spiritual traditions teach us clearly, that the world we experience through our senses is in fact merely an illusion. That at a deeper level everything is one, and that there is not such a thing as separation. There is only the infinite, eternal, complete, creative, intelligent, and totally free Absolute Consciousness that is experiencing itself subjectively. At first, this seems hard to get, but he or she who found a way to merge with the true Self, also connected to the Absolute itself and therefore to pure Bliss and all Higher Knowledge.

More recently this ancient wisdom is being backed up by science, more in particular by Quantum Physics.

The conclusion that scientists came up with, is that even the most fundamental building blocks in nature, such as protons and electrons, are in fact vibrations, like radio waves in the air. The only difference between matter and empty space is that where there is matter there is a field vibrating. Actually, there is no such thing as matter, there is only energy! Tapping into this Absolute Field is tapping into your True Self as an eternal, infinite, complete Divine Being.

“Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way.”
Albert Einstein

Meditation has numerous positive effects on our whole being as well as on the whole world

Meditation is enhancing our Self-Awareness. It also has proven numerous positive effects on our whole being:

Many studies have shown direct effects like clear relaxation, reduction of stress and anxiety, improved physical, mental and emotional health, cured addictions, boosted creativity, better sleeping patterns, the slowing down of aging, reduced menstrual syndromes, increased libido, improved memory and focus, etc., etc. And it was of course also to be expected, that more Oneness Consciousness would be translated into greater empathy and more kindness, compassion, love, peacefulness, …

Meditation is not only a path to personal awakening and personal well-being, it has in fact the potential to transform the world.

Research on the power of group meditation has been ongoing for several decades, and the results validate what the ancient sages said and what the Quantum Revolution is confirming. These studies all show extremely positive social, political, and economic results correlated to synchronized group meditations. The famous Maharishi Effect – Maharishi Mahesh Yogi predicted that one percent of a population practicing the Transcendental Meditation® technique would produce measurable improvements in the quality of life for the whole population – has been confirmed meanwhile by many other scientific studies all over the world.

Meditation Retreats

In an O~C~E~A~N meditation retreat, we connect with the Absolute Self through the trinity of SilenceDeep Meditation, and Teachings about Higher Knowledge.

The meditation we are practicing in the retreats is mainly breath meditation, which is one of the oldest forms of meditation. This is a very gentle and very effective form of meditation: No “doing” (such as strong concentration on an object, a mantra or a thought) but simply “being”. Just being aware of the breath. What will follow, is deep relaxation, deeper awareness, and a conscious-although-non-attached connection with our body, mind, senses, and surroundings. Thoughts will continue to appear, like clouds in the sky, and we will notice them as observer, however without grabbing on to them or identifying with them. From gently being aware of the breath, we will flow into the transcendent state of “being meditated”.

Probably the most important lesson that we will learn during an O~C~E~A~N meditation retreat is how to become the observer of what we experience as “the separated ego-being”, and no longer identify with it. How can we stay connected with our Absolute Self and no longer identify with our thoughts, emotions, and fears? How can we anchor in the infinite, eternal, complete, totally free, and blissful Divine Being that we really are? It will be a deep dive into the Absolute Field of Consciousness.
